At about 2 o’ clock this morning, Xena wanted to go outside to eat. At this point I’d pretty much called off the search and given up hope. I opened the door to feed her – how’s that for perfect symmetry – and in walked this guy like he freakin’ owns the place.
All hail the conquering hero!
And check out the muddiest cat paws in this part of Crawford County.
I guess this means this is home. I’m glad he finally figured that out – I just wish it the penny had dropped before 36 hours passed. First thing when he got in the door, he made a beeline for the nursery, but I grabbed him before he got there – I think we need a little checkup at the vet, and some Frontline and a little bit of quarantine time, before we go cozying up to the boy.
But I guess we know why he came back. Anyway, I’ll report back later. I’ve got something wet in my eye and I seem to be having the damnedest time getting it out.
OMG, I’m so glad he came back and in one piece too!!! And yeah, it’s a wise idea to bring him to the vet first before he gets to see Evan, just in case.
Hooray!! Those are the moments for me that I am mixed between wanting to scold kitty a little bit, but then just give way to many hugs and kisses because I am so happy kitty is safe and sound. Little Miss Turd tends to be in that scenario a bit and she never even leaves the apartment!!
So glad that Mr. Oberon is back home!
Yay! Obi is back!
/me does a little dance.
In that first pic it looks like Oberon has a little something in his eye too.
Glad to hear that Obi made it back safely!
I am quite pleased to hear this!
