The most pressing issues of our time, people…are being swept tidily under the rug while candidates get asked dipshit questions like this, and the equally-ridiculous answers get them actual face time. 😆 🙄
Um, in all fairness, the “dipshit” question was asked by an elementary school student. The young boy was maybe 10 or 11 yeas old at most. I doubt anyone at that gathering of elementary students asked questions about social medicine or the war in Iraq.
CNN did take some liberties. The kid never mentioned Mars, just an attack from outer space.
The whole thing should have been put in a “lighter moments” column and not the political ticker section.
This reminds me of the time when I was in Junior High School. I was in a journalism class and the teacher arranged a press conference between the Governor and our class. My question: “What is the hardest job of Governor?” I don’t remember the answer but I am perpetually embarrassed by that silly question.
A lot of local press were there in the hopes that one of us students would ask if the Governor was planning on running for re-election. We never did.
Well, we all know Jack Nicholson couldn’t do the job. :p
