NBC premieres the first weekly episode of Rod Serling’s Night Gallery, an anthology series of original short plays and short story adaptations hosted by Serling himself in a manner similar to his earlier anthology series, The Twilight Zone. Jeff Corey and Larry Hagman (Dallas) guest star.
