Chapter 1

Star Wars: Clone WarsThe Clone Wars spread throughout the galaxy as more systems leave the Republic. Chancellor Palpatine asks Obi-Wan Kenobi to lead his army against the Separatist stronghold of Muunilinst. The Chancellor also places Anakin Skywalker in charge of the starfighter assault, to the padawan’s delight . . . and over the objections of both Obi-Wan and Yoda.

General Kenobi assigns a group of elite ARC Troopers to infiltrate the separatist lines and cautions Anakin once more about the padawan’s judgement. Battle droids shoot down the ARC Troopers’ gunship, leaving them behind enemy lines and under heavy fire.

Notes: Although Chapter 11-20 of Clone Wars were produced at the same time as the first ten, they were set aside for later broadcast and were intially announced by both Lucasfilm and Cartoon Network to be the second “season.” (This despite the fact that Clone Wars was submitted for – and won – an Emmy for best animated program of one hour or more.)

The Separatists unveil a new weapon, a seismic tank capable of punching huge craters into the ground. With a single strike, the tank flattens the Jedi’s troops – and separates him from his lightsaber.

Chapter 14

Star Wars: Clone WarsAt the Jedi Temple on the planet Ilum, Jedi Luminara Unduli guides her padawan Barriss Offee in one of the Order’s most important trials – the construction of a lightsaber. But the Separatists have sent a squad of chameleon droids – similar to probe droids, but with attack and cloaking capabilities – to destroy the Temple. Alone, the two Jedi must defend the crystals that power their weapons.

Star Wars: Clone WarsOn Padmè’s yacht, Yoda senses the disturbance on Ilum and asks the senator to divert course to offer assistance. Captain Tycho objects, until Yoda uses the Jedi’s unique form of persuasion to convince him of the urgency of the situation. Once on Ilum, the Jedi Master must make his way through a gantlet of chameleon droids to reach the Temple.
