Grazlax Attacks – Part 2

Wizards vs. AliensTrapped in Benny’s house with the Grazlax, Tom discovers only too late that trying to ward the alien creature off with a hair dryer simply allows it to reproduce. Once the creature finds the ecologically friendly boiler Benny’s dad has built in the basement, it starts to reproduce almost at will, each “generation” creating three new Grazlax from the remains of a single Grazlax. The boy discover that high-pitched sound has an effect on their pursuers, and in space, the Nekross discovers that the Grazlax may be too powerful for even their technology to control.

Crawler Commandeers

Star Wars: RebelsFrom their new base of operations on Lothal’s southern hemisphere, Ezra, Kanan and the others spot one of the surface-smelting strip-mining crawlers that have laid waste to much of the planet’s natural surface. The Empire hires these vehicles and their minimal crews from the Mining Guild, and Ezra sees an opportunity to seize control of it. The crawler’s captain, however, isn’t going to let these “pirates” take his ship from him easily. Kanan discovers that the Rebels’ sometimes-ally Cikatro Vizago is among the slave laborers toiling in the bowels of the crawler, possibly giving him an edge in recruiting the rest of the slaves aboard. When the crawler’s captive captain summons the Empire to help, the not-even-remotely-combat-ready crawler may suddenly become the Rebels’ biggest liability.

Chapter 10: The Passenger

Star Wars: The MandalorianReturning from Mos Pelgo, the Mandalorian gets a sharp reminder that the Child is still a hot commodity among other bounty hunters, and though they both survive the encounter, it leaves the Mandalorian on foot for the long trek back to Mos Eisley. When he arrives, Peli Motto has more work lined up for him, though he’s annoyed to find that it’s basically a taxi run for the Razor Crest. The passenger is a frog-like woman carrying the last of her eggs back to her home planet to be fertilized. But the Child sees the container of eggs as one big snack bowl – and the New Republic X-Wings that pull up alongside the Razor Crest see it as a possible security risk as they sweep the galaxy for remnants of the Empire.
