Just checked my e-mail for the first time in a few hours and saw this note from my web hosting service about yesterdays gobs and gobs of downtime at theLogBook:
We recommend you clear your browser cache and flush your DNS… but I also checked the server and found that the http service on it was restarted; that was most likely the cause of the temporary downtime.
I think that’s geekspeak for “It’s not you, it’s me, but you still need to flush more often.” 😆 Actually, if I’m being asked to wipe my browser cache, I think I’m being told to flush and wipe more often.
Okay, okay, I concede defeat, but I’m still a guy – you’re gonna have to put the lid and seat down for yourself, web host.
