We had a pretty modest Christmas at home this year; thanks to a few friends showering me with gift cards early enough to do some shopping, I was able to get Little E a small heap o’ goodies, and a little something for the Mrs. too (get your mind out of the gutter). Not a huge amount of stuff, but with Little E, it’s always best not to overwhelm with stuff, but to provide some goodies that are relevant to his interests (to coin a phrase).
Really, if you look real close, what you’ll see is that he got a bunch of goodies that just continue pushing him toward his somewhat unfortunate destiny of becoming v2.0 of me. 😆 I’m still working to ensure that the upgrade includes more hair, less belly, and a big ol’ brain.
We are now the proper seasoned professional at Tearing Paper Off Of Stuff.
As he opens up his new stash of books about animals and penguins and volcanoes, Xena hogs the camera.
Good things come in small packages (it’s 4 or 5 Game Boy & GBA cartridges).
Big packages are okay too. No packages are refused, all presents are welcome. (Check out the Centauri emperor hair there.)
What do you mean, don’t get them wet and don’t feed them after midnight? (It was a joke, big guy.)
That’s my boy.
From the rest of the family, Little E got a weather sensor station thingie (cool!), a deal that projects pictures onto the wall as he draws them (cool!), and a Lego space shuttle (REALLY cool!). Also, new cars and a big twisty mountain-of-doom thing for them to race down (also cool!)… and dinosaurs!
After this, we’re off to visit some friends, and hopefully get home before the weather tonight gets terrible and blizzardly.
