theLogBook.com’s original flagship podcast was the seven-day-a-week, 365-day-a-year today-in-geek-history podcast known as theLogBook.com’s Escape Pod. Conceived in 2009 as a video production, reimagined as a podcast in 2011, and finally launched in 2013, it was meant to be fast-paced, informative, and fun. Episodes would be updated as history rolled on, with the final round of updates/re-recordings occurring in 2020. In late 2020, I closed down the Escape Pod as an ongoing/updated podcast so I could focus my attention on another today-in-sci-fi-history podcast, Sci-Fi 5, for Roddenberry Entertainment.
