French streaming service OCS releases the complete first season of the science fiction mystery series Missions, involving a conspiracy behind a European manned mission to Mars and a possible discovery of alien life. Hélène Viviès, Mathias Mlekuz, and Arben Bajraktaraj star. Despite the vast majority of the series’ dialogue being in French, American streaming service Shudder picks up the series and subtitles it for English-speaking audiences, and helps to finance a second season.
The Orville: If The Stars Should Appear
Fox airs the fourth episode of the science fiction comedy-drama The Orville, starring and created by Seth McFarlane. James Morrison (Space: Above And Beyond) guest stars, and Liam Neeson (Star Wars Episode I) makes an unannounced, uncredited cameo appearance.
