The sixth and final episode of the TV adaptation of Douglas Adams’ science fiction comedy The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy airs on BBC2. This ends the BBC’s attempt to turn Hitchhiker’s Guide into a TV franchise; after months of butting heads with the producer assigned to the series, Douglas Adams pulls the plug.
